A look that seems flawless under studio lighting may actually feel impractical or distracting during an in-person date. Slick hair looks striking in photographs, especially when every strand has been combed behind the ears. There’s no denying it looks fierce on social media! In person, however, a heavy layer of gel or styling oil can read as greasy rather than glamorous. Men will likely spend the evening wondering whether your hair is still wet instead of appreciating the sophistication.
