Physical attraction will always be subjective, but we need to be honest with ourselves here: some American men have earned widespread admiration for a reason (if not several). There may not be one universal definition of handsome, but this group of 20 comes remarkably close to covering every version of it.

We can’t help it; when we think American heartthrob, we think of Chris Evans. He did play Captain America, after all! He has it all: blue eyes, broad shoulders, and a carefully groomed beard give him a traditional leading-man appearance.
