1. Crocs
Crocs just aren’t something the opposite gender cares to overanalyze or ponder. Unless you’re trying to impress someone at a high-class restaurant, your Crocs aren’t a big deal. It shows that you don’t really care how you look; you only care about practicality over all else.
2. Oversized Clothes
When going for comfort and style, an oversized and baggy look can easily go from cute and cozy to a bit too much. Baggy clothes can, in fact, be too baggy, making your body look unflattering. A slightly bigger size is good enough in most cases.
3. Cargo Shorts
Cargo shorts don’t really draw attention one way or the other. Most people notice them, but they aren’t particularly attractive nor interesting. Sometimes, they can even be the only interesting thing about your outfit, which is definitely not a positive thing.
4. High-Waisted Jeans
Jeans can be a very attractive and complementing article of clothing in so many ways. So many people put so much stock in the waist of their jeans, and while the right shape is certainly flattering, its not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. After all, just twenty years ago, low waisted jeans were all the rage.
5. Sagging Jeans
The same can be said about sagging jeans. If you are wearing your jeans so low that you can see the bottom part of your underwear, you’re doing it wrong. A belt might not always be necessary, but letting them drop that low is definitely a choice.
6. Uggs
The opposite gender just sees Ugg boots as practical and warm. They aren’t something you need to be stylish or cool in, so most people don’t care about them. While they may be comfortable, they simply are not appealing to look at.
7. Socks and Sandals
It may be a super awkward and funny look, but the average person won’t care about it in the slightest. This fashion choice is not something that would insult someone per se, but it is a look that doesn’t turn heads for the right reasons. Simply put, it will get you the wrong kind of attention.
8. Baggy Pants
Baggy pants are super unique, but they’re not usually a big statement. Most people see them as either a really comfortable or artsy look. There are a number of comfortable things to wear that make you much cuter and less awkward to look at.
9. Too Much Cologne
While not really an outfit, a fragrance does get paired with your style choice more often than not. If you’re wearing too much cologne, it can actually override any interest they have in your outfit. An overpowering scent can make you seem less attractive than if you wore none.
10. Flip-Flops
Flip-flops aren’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If you’re wearing them, people will just think you’re going to the beach or you’re not in a formal setting. It gives off a sense of lack of care, or even a disregard for people’s opinion.
