In 2023, more than 50 pieces of the Balmain Spring/Summer 2024 collection were being loaded onto a truck for transport from the airport to the company's headquarters when the vehicle was hijacked by thieves. In 2014, a truck carrying Zumba-branded activewear like harem pants, leggings, and shoes was robbed. Thieves got away with the $1.5 million heist.
