Anyone well-versed in the makeup, skincare, or hair care community will likely know of or remember these ads when they watched them between reruns of Seinfeld or Friends. 1. Because We’re Worth It
This classic line comes from the French company L’Oréal. The company first used a version of this slogan— “Because I’m worth it” back in 1973, and changed it again to "Because you’re worth it” in the mid-2000s. The phrase we know today was introduced back in 2009.
2. Hair You’ll Love
This classic tagline comes from Clairol’s Herbal Essences. The company first came onto the scene in 1971, and has worked to maintain a brand identity of paraben, gluten, and sulfate-free, and even introduced a sustainability program back in 2016.
3. The Most Unforgettable Women In The World Wear Revlon
Revlon is an American-based company that deals in cosmetics, skincare, perfume, and personal care. This particular slogan comes from the 80s, which was introduced by using supermodels Christy Turlington, Beverly Johnson, Cindy Crawford, Jerry Hall, and Iman.
4. Get The London Look
From the British company Rimmel, this well-known makeup brand has featured countless stars as the face of their brand. Kate Moss, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lily Cole, Jerry Hall, Coco Rocha, Zoey Deschanel, Solange Knowles, Rita Ora, and Cara Delevingne are just some of the few who come to mind.

Dove is a well-known personal care brand that introduced the idea of the “Beauty Bar” to American consumers. The company is well-known for its “Campaign for Real Beauty” and “Dove Self-Esteem” projects, which both launched in the mid-2000s.

This famous Pantene slogan was first spoken by model and actress Kelly LeBrock back in the 1980s. It quickly became a pop-culture catchphrase and has been referenced many times throughout the decades.

Sephora relaunched its tagline to “We belong to something beautiful” back in 2019. The ads, which showcased a hockey player using skincare, an older woman out on the town, and a young adult using makeup, aimed to open the company up to a broader audience and a belief in self-expression.

Anyone who lived through 2016 is very familiar with Benefit and their makeup products. The company's branding features bright colors, strong font choices, and cheeky names for a variety of their products, which all fit hand-in-hand with the catchphrase of this 2010s marketing campaign.

Not an official slogan, but an advertisement well-remembered. Pond’s Cold Cream has been around since 1846, and was a trusted brand worldwide throughout the 20th century. Thanks to an advertising campaign from India, the phrase “Googly Woogly Wooksh” became remembered by all.

12. All Ages, All Races, All Genders
Canadian makeup manufacturer MAC Cosmetics introduced this slogan as a reflection of its longstanding allyship with the LGBTQ+ community. The company has made multi-million-dollar donations to HIV/AIDS research and featured RuPaul as their very first Viva Glam spokesperson.

Maybe it’s Maybelline! This famous American cosmetics company was founded back in 1915, but didn’t have its iconic slogan until 1991 when the company debuted its Finish Matte product.
