It seems like every celebrity is unrealistically beautiful these days, and that’s because they are! Most famous people use Photoshop, and those that don’t end up getting altered by editors and magazines anyways. With that in mind, here are 10 celebs who embraced the editing, and 10 that took a stand against it.
1. Madonna
Madonna is best known for her work as a singer and songwriter, and was very popular in the 90s, putting out hits like Like a Virgin and Vogue. However, she has been struggling recently with aging, and has been posting blatantly Photoshopped pictures to make herself appear younger.
2. Bella Hadid
Despite being a beautiful model with a stunning figure, even Bella isn’t immune to some Photoshop. In one Instagram post, fans noticed how the bushes behind Bella’s arms looked off, indicating some warping.
3. Emily Ratajkowski
Emily is a beautiful model that gained a significant bit of fame after appearing in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines music video. However, in one post, fans couldn’t help but point out that arms don’t work that way.
4. Kim Kardashian
The Kardashian family are famously known for their Photoshopping habits. Setting unrealistic body ideals for all, their empire includes their reality TV show and beauty brands. So of course, they have to look perfect all the time, even if they’re setting unbeatable standards.
5. Britney Spears
We really should leave Britney alone, but despite that, the pop star has received criticism for posting blatantly Photoshopped pictures and videos. Recently, the videos she would take in her home revealed weird warping, indicating she’s been altering her body.

Even men aren’t immune to Photoshop, and John serves as a pretty prime example. In some Instagram posts, he would blur his face beyond recognition to make it appear super smooth and flawless.
7. Kris Jenner
Of course, as part of the Kardashian clan, Kris has also posted questionably edited things. In one notorious photo, she posted a picture of herself and Gordon Ramsay with filtered and blurred faces. Hilariously, Gordon posted the same unedited version showing just how far she went.

Gwen Stefani is another popular singer known for her work in the group No Doubt followed by her solo career where she put out hits like Hollaback Girl. However, she too has received criticism for her edited photos, including filtered faces and edited bodies.

Ariana Grande has been going through some body changes as well, and has merged her musical career with acting. Despite this, early on in her career, fans noticed how her hands would be obscenely large in her photos, indicating warping being done to her body.

While Beyoncé has probably participated in some editing of her own, she couldn’t stand it when she learned H&M had edited her silhouette to be slimmer when she modeled their beachwear collection.

Florence certainly has a uniquely beautiful look that is entirely her own. So she wasn’t afraid to take a stand when one of the apps on her phone automatically “corrected” her face. She spoke out to her fans on how such behavior isn’t okay, and we shouldn’t normalize technology and filters of this sort.

Everyone’s favorite young artist is admired for her down-to-earth personality. In fact, when she found out Modeliste magazine slimmed her hips and waist in a photo, she decided to call them out on Instagram.
4. Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen is currently best known for her work as Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In one post, she called out Empire Magazine’s photo of her, asking if that even looked like her due to the edits.
